Characteristics of the Injuries by Automobile Accidents

Abstract

Vehicles of transportation are responsible for a great number of fatalities. At autopsy vehicular death is not always a simple matter of recording the gross injuries. It involves careful consideration of various medical and legal questions and accurate correlation of the findings with these questions. Therefore, author reviewed the characteristics of injuries of vehicular victims such as characteristics of the injuries of passengers, drivers and pedestrians, and discussed their problems on the basis of author's experiences, such as bumper my-try, secondary and tertiary injury, runover injury, epidermal tears and annular skin avulsion.
