Abstract |
The extracts of stems of Korean Caragana Chamlagu Lam. were prepared as the usual method and carried out agglutination test with various human red blood cells after absorption with human AB serum.
Author also demonstrated that certain red blood cells were apparently agglutinated by absorbed extract of Caragana Chamlagu Lam., while others were failed to agglutinate. Therefore, author designated the former as ab. C (+) type (absorbed Caragana Chamlagu Lam. Positive type), the latter as ab. C (?) type (absorbed Caragana Chamlagu Lam. Negative type).
In this experiment on a series of 724 specimens of red blood cells, the frequency of ab. C (+) type was 66.99% (485), that of ab. C (?) type was 33.01% (239), and there were no significant differences in the distribution of ab. C type between male and female, among ABO blood groups, MNSs blood groups, Rh-Hr subgroups and secretors. |
