Abstract |
A comparative study on the agglutination adsorption activities of phytagglutinin, P. vulgaris L. (PVL) and C. Chamlagu Lam. (COL) by the human AB type sera was carried out with 100 specimens of human red blood cells for the understanding of each characteristics, and the results could be summarized as follows:
1. The PVL and CCL reacted on the human red blood cells as panphytagglutinin, respectively.
2. In the distribution of agglutination adsorption activity of PVL, the positive reaction (ab.P(+)) was 26 cases (26%) and the negative (ab. P(?)), 74 cases (74%).
3. In the distribution of agglutination adsorption activity of COL, the positive reaction ( ab. C(+)) was 63 cases (63%) and the negative (ab. C(?)), 37 cases (37%).
4. Therefore, there was specific relationship between two serotypes of ab. P and ab. C, classified by agglutination adsorption activities of PVL and CCL by human AB type sera. |
