Abstract |
The author used extracts from the stems of Agastache rugosa O. KUNTZE native to Korea.
Study on their hemagglutination activities to red blood cells such as agglutination with human red blood cells, agglutination titration, absorption test with selected human red blood cells and agglutination with ficinated red blood cells were carried out. The results could be summarized as follows;
1. A lectin which related MN polymorphism was demonstrated in the stems extracts of Korean Agastache rugosa O. KUNTZE.
2. Ficinized human red blood cells were not agglutinated by the lectin demonstrated in Agastache extract as like anti-M and anti-N sera behaved.
3. The serological nature of the lectin demonstrated in Agastache extract behaved as like Can serum. |
