Oto-rhinological Problems Caused by Trauma

Abstract
Every year, traumatic accidents has been greatly increasing in our country due to the development of automobile and heavy industries and many large house constructions. Most of otorhinological complications and residual symptoms from trauma has occurred from the head and facial injuries. Those complications and residual symptoms are as follows, and these were discussed respectively in each item. Otological field : *Ear bleeding *Hematotympanum *Cerebrospinal fluid leakage to the ear *Ear drum rupture and ossicular damage *Inner ear and 8th nerve injuries *Ecchymosis around the temporal or mastoid area *Hearing impairment *Tinnitus *Dizziness *Facial nerve paralysis Rhinological field : *Injuries of external nose and septum *Injury of sinuses *Nasal bleeding *Olfactory disturbance
