Medicolegal Analysis on Medical Malpractice by the Decisions of Medical Accidents

Abstract

The judicial decisions of Korea dealing with litigation involving various types of medical misadventures are reviewed and compared with the Japanese judicial decisions of medical malpractice cases. The judicial decisions of medical malpractice cases from 1960 to 1970 were classified to criminal and civil cases and discussed their litigant causes, the contents of violated physician's duties, medical care and involved departments.
