Amniotic Fluid Embolism Subsequent to Injuries

Abstract
Amniotic fluid embolism in pregnant women is extremely rare in prevalence, though once encountered the consequence is almost always catastrophic. The accident above mentioned coincided with injuries sustained by expectant mother is improbable because the event is often anteceded with active labor. The paper briefs the clinical features of amniotic fluid embolism with the emphasis on pathogenesis.
