Examination of Bite Mark Evidence

Abstract
Many reports have been published in which bite mark have played a decisive role in identification connected with crime all over the world. Also in Korea, cases involving bite marks have increased considerably Since first reports of bite wound 1969. Although bite mark evidence should be examined only by a highly trained forensic dental expert, there is a very feal possibility that bite mark evidence may be initially found or treated by non expert in present Korean postmortem investigation system. For this reason, author have tried to comment here some essential considerations for dealing with bite mark evidence.
