Abstract
The process of artificial conception can be accomplished in two ways: in vitro fertilization or in Vivo fertilization. Artificial insemination has long served an important role in the treatment of infertile couples. Since the first successful transfer of a human embryo produced by in vitro fertilization into the mother in 1978, many in vivo fertilization techniques such as low tubal ovum transfer, nonsurgical ovum transfer, gamete intrafallopian transfer etc. have been developed to manipulate fertilized and unfertilized human gametes. In this paper a general concept in these techniques of artificial conception was described.
