| Abstract |
|
The leading cause of death of women aged between 15 and 44 years in Korea is reported as trauma and toxication in recent years.
In diagnosis of trauma in pregnant women one must bear in mind that pregnancy changes maternal physiology, particulary cardiopulmonary functions in addition to that of digestive activity. Also close attention should be made that clinicians are dealing with both maternal and fetal well being at the same time. Emergency procedures while examining injured gravida is briefly summarized. |
