| Abstract |
|
The postmortem investigation of unnatural death in Korea is conducted by four different occupations; legally responsible profession is public prosecutor, conduct responsibility belongs to policeman, permission of autopsy is determined by judge, and postmortem examination of the corpse is carried out by medical doctor.
The knowledge and information of verification are greatly emphasized throughout the large part of the postmortem investigation, especially the scene investigation.
Since this article is addressed to a wide range of professional disciplines, some of the subjects are inevitably directed more towards readers with medical backgrounds, whereas others are suited for general understanding. |
