Abstract |
Extracts of leaves of the Korean V.unijuga were prepared in the usual manner and agglutination inhibition test on human red blood cell (RBC) with various chloramphenicol derivatives were carried out.
The result could be summarized as follows;
1. By using phytagglutinin, V. unijuga treated with chloramphenicol, human RBC was classified into two groups. One is agglutination inhibited and the other is non-inhibited.
2. The agglutinating inhibition by chloramphenicol of the V. unijuga was predominated in the M-type, on the other hand, agglutinating inhibition to the Nand MN-type was not frequently.
3. Agglutinating inhibition of V. unijuga treated with various preparation of chloramphenicol was resulted in the same with each other.
4. It was demonstrated that substances which inhibit the specificity on M-type antigenic determinants of V. unijuga is contained in chloramphenicol. |
